Key Features and Benefits of our New Range

Retail applications can take advantage of the space saving design which features two removable front panels. These module housings can accommodate an Omni-directional laser scanner, a 58mm thermal mini-printer (for low printed output applications) or an internal RFID tag reader / writer. (In any combination) For the security conscious, an integrated CMOS camera can be configured to take an image of the user whenever a specific event occurs and staff can be required to gain access to the system via the secure biometric fingerprint reader device. Digital media can be displayed on the rear, customer facing display to advertise brand awareness or special offers and controlled via a friendly web application to modify content - in addition, the 7" display also features a built-in motion sensor which can deactivate the display when customers are not present, thus extending the life of the display considerably.

For the ultimate in hassle-free installation or for regularly moved terminals, the internal 3G Modem allows you to plug and play onto the internet for remote access configuration and reporting via our W:BO Web Back office products.

W-BO: Web Back Office

Bleep's Web Back Office (W-BO) is a unique product.

As with our legacy B-BO, (Bleep Back Office) most EPoS sales and stock control packages are applications that are loaded locally onto the clients computer.

W-BO is different in that the application resides on our Web servers and is accessed through a standard Web browser such as Internet Explorer on the PC or Safari on the Mac.

This means that you can gain access to your data from literally anywhere in the world.

W-BO Core Technical Features

. Linux / Apache Secure Servers
. Postgres SQL Database
. Multi-Language
. Multi-User (Unlimited)
. Multi-Level Security Policies
. Automatic Data Backups
. Multiple Mirror Sites

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/wbo-promo.png

In the past, legacy systems have always struggled to give multiple retailers the information they need. Whether it be site level access or Head Office access, communications between the two have always been plagued with problems and data synchronisation issues.

W-BO has none of these infrastructure problems. Whether you have one site or many sites, W-BO has a single point of contact for all users. Local site level users or Managers can access their information simply by supplying their credentials in the same manner that Head Office staff can access the global scope of information for their entire operation.

W-BO is Modular

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/w-bo_cogs_lge.png

As a module driven service, rather than an application, W-BO maintains the competitive edge in that the service is charged for on a monthly basis and modules may be activated or deactivated as required.

W-BO Core Module (Required)

The W-BO Core Module contains all of the facilities you need to control your business on a day-to-day basis. Owners / management can view live sales data from any of their stores (branches) directly across the Internet. Full end of day reporting for all sales products, cash turnover and staff performance is provided. New products and price changes can be introduced online & downloaded to the EPoS terminals in the field either by schedule or on demand. The image below shows the POS Screen Editor which is used for maintaining the Point of Sale Terminals.

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/new/wbo-screenedit.jpg

W-BO Pro

The Pro module of W-BO adds the ability to control your stock and recipes.
Stock taking, ordering and invoicing applets allow you to ensure that stock levels and financial data are maintained across your business, whilst the recipe costing module enables you to drill down, creating and costing recursive menus and dishes.  This allows for infinite control over your re-ordering decisions and processes to better automate and simplify your business model. In line with the core W-BO structure, W-BO Pro is scalable and can be used by any size of enterprise, from single restaurant to multiple chains.

W-BO SMS

This small module helps to keep you in touch when you can't spare the time to log into our web service. Reports and alerts can be customized and sent to nominated mobile telephones via sms messages.
This module is handy for people who travel or have multiple businesses which need to report their status on a regular basis.

W-BO HACCP Temperature Monitoring

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic preventive approach to food safety. HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCPs) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized.
The most common CCP is cooking; another is food storage and refrigeration.

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/haccp.png

Using the Bleep TP-501, key areas such as store rooms, refrigeration cabinets, chiller cabinets and even deep freezers can be monitored wirelessly and the data recorded in w-bo for future analysis, negating the need for staff to constantly monitor and record temperatures.

Each module can be customized to accept and react to a specific range of temperatures which, when activated, will not only log the problem but will also inform the EPoS system that a particular unit alarm has triggered and produce clear, informative messages on the nominated PoS Printers. (Such as Kitchen Printers or Receipt Printers)

Utilising Radio Frequency technology, the TP-501 requires a wireless router to be present to relay information to the w-bo server. A virtually unlimited number of TP-501 units may function within the same area as each unit has a unique MAC address. An internal high–power battery ensures that the unit remains active and sending signals for up to 3 years. Battery status can be checked via the w-bo interface.

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/new/wbo-haccp.jpg

W-BO IP Surveillance Module

For the security conscious, multiple IP cameras (wired or wireless) can be installed into your establishment(s) to record and monitor events which can be later recalled for review. All footage recorded is streamed to a small, unobtrusive server which captures the information for a pre-configured period of time. (Usually a calendar month) For maximum protection, this data can also be streamed to our online backup servers to be used in the event of an onsite failure. Data recorded is time stamped by the minute and can be referenced online, usually within 60 seconds.

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/cameras.png

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/wbo_3.jpg

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/wbo_2.jpg

Used in conjunction with our EPoS terminals, all till events can be synchronized and replayed on demand, which allows for IP cameras to be trained on the point of sale to identify differences between till logs and real events.

W-BO Dispense Management

Bleep Dispense Management comprises of a complete family of wireless products that provides control solutions for every aspect of beverage dispensing and inventory management. It tracks the Who, What, How Much and When of every pour in real time!

W-BO (Dispense) also provides inventory management of all open goods entered into the system and dispensing can be checked against POS receipts identifying problems for immediate resolution.

R4 Features & Benefits

. Features for Bar Operations . Features for Nigh clubs
. Features for Gastro Pubs . Features for Bar / Restaurant
. Features for Restaurants

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/700_1a.png

R4 uses the ultra reliable RTOS platform (Real Time Operating System) and every terminal installed on a network becomes a Master in its own right.

Because a Bleep installation does not require a Central Server to operate, this single most common fault in an epos system is eliminated.

Rather than using a simple name or pin number, each member of staff can be issued with a personal iButton key programmed to their own level of access for the TS700/TS-750 system.

http://www.bleepplc.com/images/new/700back.jpg
Back View Of Bleep TS 750 POS Machine

The iButton key enables individuals to be monitored for their work activity and the hours worked etc. If used for time and attendance, R4 can produce a payroll based against the hours worked and the hourly rate applicable for each member of staff.

The iButton key determines which working screen automatically opens to each member of staff when they logon to a terminal. ie: barman or food waiter. A manager would have access to the whole system and only the manager would have authorisation to action certain functions. Such as voiding transactions or giving discounts etc.

By simply holding a transaction, multiple staff members can operate on a TS700/TS750 terminal at the same time. Held transactions can be accessed on any terminal connected in a network, thus enabling staff to move freely between terminals whilst serving the same transaction. R4 has a massive 150 main screens, each with up to 100 buttons and it can handle up to 9999 items. By operating the Cash Declaration feature, the actual amount of takings must be confirmed into the terminal before an X or Z reading can be printed.

As a recommended option, any busy operation would benefit greatly with the installation of a back office stock management system. The Bleep back office database package enables Terminal programming to be conducted on a PC and then distributed to the terminals either immediately or at a determined time. The back office system stores full details all the suppliers together with all the costs relating to the goods they supply.

By storing the price bought and the price sold, the back office can deliver instant reports showing the profit levels achieved on individual products or categories. Partial or full stock taking reports can be produced on demand. To avoid ordering problems, alerts can be issued when the minimum agreed stock level of a product is reached.

Selected Features for Bar Operations

Tabs can be split by the number of guests, by specific amounts, or by the individual items purchased. A service charge can be automatically added to parties over a certain size or a bill can be manually adjusted by an amount or percentage by the manager.

A promo feature of R4 allows all orders to be checked against the promotions available to ensure the customer receives the very best price for their order. This feature can be automatic or staff activated. Each item can have 5 price levels and regular price changes, such as happy hour, can be preset to automatically activate at certain times. A simple Club Entrance program manages and records the various promotional vouchers and entry charge levels. For extra fast service, an open cash-drawer operation can be adopted at peak times. The program can also confirm how much 'guest commission' is due for each promoter, if these are used.

R4 has the option of an integrated card reader which can be used to operate a members' system for cashless payment.

Selected Features for a Gastro Pub

When signing on the initial screen shown is the Fast Bar. This screen shows the most commonly sold drinks with automatic prompts to the usual splits where required. All drink and food categories are accessed from this screen to provide an easy and fast service in a logical working manner. Orders to the kitchen include the table number or a particular area where the food is to be served if operating a system such as 'numbered spoons' etc.

Customer bar tabs can be listed under a person's name, number or table. Whenever drinks are added to a bar tab a receipt is automatically printed to avoid possible later disagreements. The current status of all tables in the venue can be viewed on the bar screen and customer tabs can then be transferred to a chosen table in any area. The actual table layout of the restaurant can be displayed on screen and tables are selected by touch. When a table is opened an automatic prompt requests the server to confirm the number of guests. The server can allocate items ordered to individual seats for convenience of serving and the easy splitting of bills if required. A service charge can be automatically added to parties over a certain size or a bill can be manually adjusted by an amount or percentage by the manager.

A 'promo' feature of the TS700 allows all orders to be checked against the promotions available to ensure the customer receives the very best price for their order. This feature can be automatic or staff activated. Each item can have 5 price levels and regular price changes, such as 'happy hour', can be preset to automatically activate at certain times.

For convenience the program allows a Starter to be ordered as a Main or a Main as a Starter and charge accordingly. The useful Re-order button enables items previously ordered to be selected and re-ordered as with drinks and wines. When entering the food order, prompts on all selected items can pop-up to ensure the server gives the kitchen the necessary information. The server has the ability to enter an order in the system and then place it on Hold. It can then be sent to the kitchen when the customer or server is ready. As a simple visual guide, the colour of a table can change to show the current status. Table available, Table in use and Table requested the bill.

To transfer customers from one table to another simply select their table and touch the table they wish to move to. All transactions are moved across the status is updated on both tables.
At anytime a table overview can be obtained on screen by touching the table concerned. A screen pop-up will display the time the table was opened and the amount spent so far. For larger operations the system can handle multiple printer options to enable individual menu items to be printed on specific printers. All standard kitchen messages can be saved and an on screen keyboard can be used for any additional comments.

Because a menu is constantly changing for 'daily specials' etc the TS700 program is designed to be easily altered every day. Each menu item can show the amount of portions available and this figures reduces whenever one is ordered. By keeping the server informed the customer is less likely to be frustrated by ordering something that is no longer available. To cover all payment options, a customer's bill can be split in various ways. Split by differing amounts, by equal amounts, by individual seats and by the individual items sold. Payment can be a mixture of cash and credit card and can even include cash back if required. A service charge can be an amount or a percentage and this is adjustable on each bill. A set service charge can be automatically to parties over a certain size. A flexible discount level can be applied against the drink, the food or the whole bill. Alternatively a discount can be applied against a specific item on the bill.
