PMS Link is a software program designed and maintained by ReservHotel to be installed and configured on a PC, connected to the Hotel's PMS network. The function of the program is to deposit all electronic reservations directly to the front desk and reservation office. In return, it updates availability with ReservHotel and is automatically updated in the different GDS systems as well as on our own internet reservation system. This system offers time and reservation efficiency and more accurate availability data for future customers. Some programming is required by the company that developed the hotel's PMS.

ReservaNet is a Central Reservations System whose application is Windows based. It was developed using Java, Oracle Web Toolkit, Java script, and PL/SQL and can be used with any Intranet/Internet network configuration. Overview of the two options proposed by Newtech Systems limited:-

You have three options for the CRS project.

1. In option 1, you will register your Hotel with ReservHotel (CRS), get HotSoft Web Engine and HotSoft PMS. Here reservations via GDS are registered onto your local HotSoft PMS via Web Engine Interface. Here, your hotel's inventory and rates are uploaded automatically onto the CRS and if there are changes on your hotel's inventory and rates, it is uploaded automatically onto the CRS and also reservations from prospective guests are registered on your local PMS automatically. All these will be happening on real time basis, likewise online payments by prospective guests are registered in your bank automatically as stated in the CRS. In this option, availability will be provided on real time bases too.

2. This option 2 just involves registering your hotel with ReservHotel CRS, whereby the room inventory and rates are uploaded manually on the CRS and reservations from prospective guests are sent to your hotel's e-mail reservation box automatically. Your hotel will also be published to all the global travel agents, GDS, ADS etc. It is the cheapest services you can obtain as far as CRS services are concerned. In this case, no link with your local PMS Software. This option also involves online payments. You can start with this option 2 and gradually move to option 1 as time goes on. Ok

NB: The Idea of the developing CRS system locally will not achieve the aim and objective of the hotel because the developer will spend one to three years still developing the local CRS system, which will never be linked to the CRS Companies, global travel agents, GDS, ADS and HotSoft PMS because he is not connected to the CRS central database used by other CRS Companies, GDS, ADS, portals worldwide. Your Hotel will only spend un-necessary money without achieving the required results. The CRS local developer will only achieve a system that is form filling kind of system and the information filled are sent to the e-mail box of the hotel but who has such a time to spend, filling forms locally for hotel reservations in Nigeria, where all the hotels are exposed to them locally?
