In cooperation with Philips, Hoist has developed a joint IPTV solution for the hotel industry. The cooperation means that Hoist can now supply software for integration with Philips' LCD televisions for hotels.

Eyecom Conference Guide

Eyecom Conference Guide provides your guests with information about which room they should be in and how to get there. An overview screen in reception, as well as local screens outside the rooms, allows the guests to always receive the information they need to find their way around. Staff can see a clear overview of all conference rooms, treatment rooms, etc through the system and can also add new information. The screens affected are then updated automatically.

System Functions

1. Hotel Customer Service

  • Welcome Regards: As a place for refreshment, the owner of hotel should provide a comfortable, convenient environment for customers and make them feel at home. Especially in top grade hotels, welcome regards are necessary.
  • VOD Service: VOD System makes people choose what they like through remote controller, fast forwards, fast backwards, pause; play, just like watch DVD at home. The charges for these services are posted to HotSoft PMS automatically through HotSoft VOD interface System
  • Live TV Live TV is the standard services in each hotel. Hotel can also provide special Live TV Program for their customers.
  • Time Shift: With this service, customers will not miss any program. Customers can play programs which already passed, just choosing channel, date, and time. Live TV backwards and forwards is also a highlight to attract users.
  • Hotel Info Service: Static pictures, text or video can display hotel referent info to customers.
  • Room Service: Customers can enjoy room cleaning, dinner order, health massage, morning call, and booking services through TV system.
  • Information Service: When browsing EPG, watching movie or Live TV, STB can receive notifications from system and show the information at the bottom of screen in rolling title style.
  • Query Service: Customers can trace how is booked service going on and check the consumption bill with detail info

2. Operation Management

  • Customer Management: Operators' administrator can manage enterprises' portal. Operation includes enterprise query, enterprise adding, instrument query, enterprise info editing and so on.
  • Content Audition: Hotel owner has the right to decide whether auditing the video or text content. If audition is needed, distribution will be finished after audition, if not, delivering content directly to customers.
  • Program Editing Include EPG column management, and program lifetime management. Operators can edit EPG column reference to public VOD and private EPG column description
  • Rights and Administrator Management: Support rights creating; roles creating, editing and delete; support rights distribution to roles and administrators.
  • Log Management: Provide log query, log export, log backup and log delete functions.
