HotSoft Interfaces are programs that run 24h / day and allow HotSoft to communicate with external devices. Most interfaces require a dedicated terminal (computer) to ensure a reliable connection. Most interfaces connect using a rs232 serial cable. HotSoft offers a wide range of interfaces and is open to integration with a variety of different systems. Hoist works with many partners, including: Hogia, Visma Spcs, Payzone, Bleep TS, Six Card Solutions, VingCard and Trivec.

HotSoft Telephone PBX Interface
Telephone PBX System linked to HotSoft PMS via telephone interface system
The HotSoft Telephone Interface program integrates the telephone PBX system with HotSoft PMS through a serial port at PBX and the serial port at the Telephone Interface PC running HotSoft telephone interface System. The Telephone interface System monitors out- going calls, and computes the telephone charges after the calls and posted these charges automatically to the guests' folios. The telephone interface monitors both guests and hotel staff calls. It handles guest wakeup calls, especially when the guest is scheduled for appointment.
HotSoft Credit Card Integration
The Credit Card Interface integrates the Credit Card Payment Machines with HotSoft PMS so that payments from guests through Credit Card are posted to guests folios automatically.
Central Reservation System (CRS) eRes CRS Engine - Online Reservations CRS
This CRS Bookings Engine involves a situation whereby the Hotel is registered with CRS Company, the hotel's inventory and Rates are uploaded real time to CRS Engine from HotSoft PMS Software via HotSoft Web Engine / Web CRS interface, then guests' reservations are downloaded to HotSoft PMS System through CRS Interface / HotSoft Web Engine. The Hotel's HotSoft PMS is updated automatically with CRS reservations information on real time basis as long as the HotSoft PMS Systems is connected to HTI Host Server on 24/7 connection via local ISP.
In this case, the HotSoft PMS Software is linked to CRS System and receives reservation downloads from CRS System. This gives the prospective guests the hotels' room availabilities and rates. The prospective guests make their reservations through eRes CRS, Channel Distribution companies, Portals, Travel Agent, GDS, ADS etc. The Hotel's prospective guests' can also make their reservations via the hotel's website, which is linked to the CRS System by providing a link to be clicked "Make Your On-line Reservation" for on-Line Reservations.
HotSoft Key-Card Systems
The HotSoft Key Card System is an interface program that integrates HotSoft PMS with some number of Key Card Locking Software packages, eg Cocy Key Locks, VingCards, Saflok, Solitaire, etc.
Cocy Key Locks
Cocy Key Locking Software is also linked to HotSoft PMS and this means added security and controls in the hotel rooms and blocks.
POS - Restaurant Systems
HotSoft POS interface is an interface system that integrates HotSoft PMS with some number of POS Systems like Bleep TS POS Machines, Micros, Uniwell, Vectron, Casio Machines, Toshiba POS Machines etc.
Pay-TV Systems / VOD.
The Pay TV / VOD System is an interface system that integrates HotSoft PMS with some Pay TV / VOD System. It posts charges from the Pay TV System to guests' folios automatically.
CRM Systems
HotSoft Account Link System
HotSoft link programs are used to allow HotSoft PMS to send information to, or to receive information from external programs. The links are only used when needed, and do not require a dedicated terminal (computer).
Most links communicate using text files. Eg. HotSoft Account Link System transfers daily sales figures from HotSoft PMS to Sage BusinessWorks Accounting System General Ledger & Accounts Receivable modules automatically. HotSoft sales figures can also be transferred to the following Accounting System:- Sage line 50, Simply, AccPac, Access Accounting, Basco, Eko 2000, Orion, Pyramid, Visma Business, Pastel Partner, Zirius, Micromore, Account Master, SAP etc.
SMS - Booking Confirmation
The SMS Booking Confirmation interface send Guests confirmations to the mobile phones showing details of the reservation, such as arrival date, room type, room rate, number of nights, and other reservation policies. It is also used to send text messages to the guest incase he or she forgets something in the hotel room.

HotSoft Allotment
This is common in the hotel business to allot rooms to travel agencies or large companies. When hotel room rooms are allotted to a third party, it is not available for sale to anybody else, except to the travel agency who check-in their guests. In most cases, the travel agents pay in advance for these rooms allotted to them. In allotments, hotel rooms are sold in advance and it saves the hotel some marketing costs in terms of marketing running and employment costs too. In advance countries, hotels sale their rooms in advance and they have les running cost in getting the rooms occupied because the rooms are already sold to travel agents or companies in advance.
It is a little like reserving a room even though you do not know who the client will be. When a block of rooms has been allotted an agent can contact the hotel and make reservations against his allotment.
This means that the agent can sell rooms to his clients, without having to first contacting the hotel, in the sure knowledge that the rooms will be available (provided he does not exceed the number of rooms allotted to him).
HotSoft further refines the allotment process by adding sophisticated release methods that will automatically release allotted rooms based upon rules that you can set.
